FORMÁLI Íbúaskrá Í fórum safnsins er til talsvert af heimildum og öðrum gögnum sem tengjast sögu Hússins á Eyrarbakka. Meðal þess er íbúaskrá unnin úr prestþjónustubókum og stór mappa með margvíslegum heimildum um Húsið. Jafnframt hefur nokkuð borið á því undanfarin ár að afkomendur íbúa Hússins hafi komið til að vitja heimkynna forfeðra sinna, sent tölvupóst á netfang safnsins eða skrifað í gestabók heimasíðunnar. Til að auðvelda þessu fólki og öðrum áhugasömum leitina að upplýsingum um íbúa Hússins á Eyrarbakka hefur þessi undirsíða "Grúsk" verið sett upp. Hér er að finna íbúaskrá Hússins, skrá yfir kaupmenn og faktora búsetta í Húsinu, Vesturfaraskrá og ítarefni um einstaka kaupmenn og afkomendur þeirra. FOREWORD Index In The Museum's possession is a considerable amount of historical documentation and documentary material related to The House in Eyrarbakki. Amongst them, is a list of residents who lived in The House, based on parochial registers. In addition, a huge folder in which consists of miscellaneous documentary source material concerning The House. Many descendants of the residents in The House have paid The Museum a visit through the years in order to view their ancestral home, sent e-mail to The Museum, or written in the guest book located on the home site of The House. To enable the descendants and others interested in their search for information concerning the residents of The House in Eyrarbakki, this site is now being released. The site contains a list of the residents in The House, a summary over The Merchants and The Factors who lived in The House and their descendants, also a documentary containing information about The Emigrants who moved to The Continent of America. Mrs. Anna Kr. Pétursdóttir composed The Summary over the Petersen family, The Emigrant list and the genealogical part. She also supervised the construction of this site in co-operation with the web-site designers at Vefur.is. Please note, that this site is still being developed, and source material concerning The Merchants and The Factors who lived in The House amongst other source material is far from accomplished.
